Have you ever felt stuck in trying to move forward? Or so exhausted to even begin tackling a big project? I have been that way for years. My goals of writing a blog, maintaining a personal paper journal, and freelancing have many moving parts, which can make it difficult for me to find time to do everything I care about.
Over the past few years, I've focused in on trying to find tools to help me stay organized. I've purchased planners from boutique online shops and Target, all trying to get my life planned down to the minute. It wasn't until I saw Lauren of La Petite Farmhouse use her PowerSheets that I took a chance to break down my life goals into smaller, manageable tasks.
Since starting PowerSheets in 2016, I've taken more time to tend to myself and to cross off some major life goals. I re-started blogging, saved money, created a summer activity list, and brought coffee to the office more often. In tandem with the Emily Ley Simplified Planner, I have a daily reminder to compliment strangers, to write in my journal, and to show love to Dave in a new and exciting way. As I write to myself over and over again, life is all about making small steps and enacting small changes. I am able to do so when I use PowerSheets. I call my Mom weekly, I send snail mail to far away friends, and I even applied to a civic service position within Madison to be part of the chance my community needs.
I teamed up with Lauren of La Petite Farmhouse and Mindy of Love Min to share our own personal adventures with PowerSheets and reading Lara Casey's books. Lauren uses PowerSheets to simplify her life, something she and her husband, Kyle, are doing as the build their own farmhouse just outside of Madison. Lauren and Kyle believe that it is most important to enjoy small, simple things in life rather than getting caught up in the big picture. Mindy uses PowerSheets to understand that life isn't always about following the goals you set down to a T; sometimes it is important to change your path and follow what is best for your life.
If you are interested in being a PowerSheets user, the 2018 sheets go on sale October 25! You know the three of us will be ordering ours that same day. Lara Casey, the creator of PowerSheets, has written two books: Make It Happen and Cultivate.
Have you used PowerSheets or read any of Lara's books? Let me know. I'll be sure to share your story with Lauren and Mindy so we can see all of the different ways in which PowerSheets works for you!
