Hi. I'm Tomissa.

Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog. I post about the places I go, the coffee I drink, and the books I read.

Coffee Tour: Stone Creek Coffee

Coffee Tour: Stone Creek Coffee

On cooler mornings when I feel like taking a short walk to get coffee, I tend to opt to go to Stone Creek Coffee on East Washington Avenue. They have some of my favorite coffee drinks including lattes and mochas. Two of their year-round lattes I love are the Boston latte and the cardamom spice latte. The Boston latte is a latte with honey and an additional shot of espresso in the 16 oz. and 20 oz. options. The cardamom spice latte is a delicious and slightly-sweet latte with hints of vanilla and a lot of the cozy cardamom flavor.

When I head to Stone Creek Coffee with Dave, he typically orders the carmella latte to satisfy his sweet tooth on those early morning coffee walks. We tend to sit at one of the higher tables to co-work together on weekend mornings when we are hoping to get tasks accomplished before relaxing for the remainder of our weekend.

I appreciate Stone Creek's cozy atmosphere with tons of electrical outlets and the abundance of natural light on sunny days. Their staff of knowledgeable and talented baristas is extremely kind and helpful for when you are between drink options or head back to the coffee bar to get a cold brew coffee on your way out of the door.

If you aren't in the Madison area, Stone Creek Coffee has many outposts in the Milwaukee area and will be opening up their first Chicago store in Lakeview in early 2018. I hope you have the opportunity to taste Stone Creek's delicious coffee for yourself in the near future.
