Welcome. Erm, well, welcome back.
Last fall, I made the drastic decision to take down my blog and delete all evidence of my writing on the internet. For myriad reasons, I was not enjoying writing for anyone other than myself. Over the past nine months, I contemplated beginning again with a different focus, but each time these thoughts crept into my mind, I knew it wasn't the right time or reason to start over.
In the past month or so, a lot of aspects of my life have changed, mostly for the better. I am writing more, reading more, and exploring more. My time outside of the office is spent doing things I love, such as spending time with good friends and making my relationship with Dave stronger than it has ever been.
Back in May, Dave and I took a long weekend vacation to New York. Throughout that time, I realized that the things I love most in this world (coffee, books, writing, traveling, Dave) had been pushed to the wayside. I had a bit of an awakening that I needed to tell the stories in my life to anyone who wants to read or to listen. So, here we are. I'm telling my story, again. I'm writing, again. I'm sharing, again.
I have started to begin, again.
